The apartment was wonderful. It was very clean, large, chic and decorated impeccably. The owner provided good customer service and even let us leave our bags in the apartment for several hours after check-out time. The neighborhood was great. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment.

Ceclie and her apartment make for the perfect stay in Paris. She was so easy to communicate with - friendly, responsive and accommodating. The apartment was even more spectacular than we thought it would be. It is beautifully decorated (Cecile has great taste), cozy, tons of morning light, super clean. It's in a lovely, old building with the quintessential narrow winding staircase up to the various floors and the tiny 2-peson elevator (our 8-year old loved it!) Cecile has thought of everything travelers might need - travel books on Paris, umbrellas, canvas shopping bag for going to the market, electrical adapters, internet phone for free international calls, washer and dryer. Our stay in the apartment was a delight. It is in the perfect location - 2 minute walk to the nearest Metro stop (Saint Paul on the #1 line), walk in any direction for shops, cafes, boulangerie, and restaurants, a few blocks from the Seine. You are right in the heart of the Marais arrondissement, perfect for exploring the numerous, old small streets of the area. Can't say enough positive things about the apartment and our interactions with Cecile.

This apartment is a great find. If you're tossing between a hotel or apartment go for this apartment definitely. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children ages 9 + 13. There are 2 bathrooms - a must for us - so this is great. Situated in the courtyard of a quiet apartment block in a nice area of Paris. From the apartment , walk a couple of minutes one way and reach the river or walk the other way and reach a main road, with shops and trains. The plus was the driver recommendation from Cecile to pick us up and return to the airport - helping to locate the keys and apartment door - made our arrival and departure so much easier. Many thanks!

Centrally located for walking to shopping and attractions. Large spaces within this tastefully decorated one bedroom apartment. Immaculate. Liking to cook to feel at home? The kitchen is well stocked with pans & utensils for vacation cooking. The amenities are as described - the washer and dryer in the kitchen is away from the bedroom. Walk in closet and plenty of hangers, a plus for unpacking and luggage storage. La salle de bain - modern. Good lighting throughout and multiple outlets for device charging. Enjoyed the selection of television stations - many in French with a few in English. We appreciated Cecile's prompt email replies to our questions. And to end a perfect stay, Peguy (Cecile's driver) was a delight as he drove us back to the airport (highly recommend this service). Located on the uppermost floor, this apartment is quiet.

The owner of this apartment is organized, fluent in English, and detail oriented. Every promise was met with zero difficulty or drama. The apartment is extremely comfortable with terrific beds and two large bathrooms, one with an excellent American style shower. Everything works and is easy to use especially because of the detailed instructions provided. The apartment is quiet and spacious and perfectly suitable for living in Paris. The location is IDEAL located as it is in the heart of the Marais, one of the most vibrant areas in the city filled with unique shops and neighborhood restaurants. It is steps from the best metro line, bus lines and a large taxi stand, which allows access to everything in Paris, and it is an easy walk to Notre Dame and the Pompidou Center, a reasonable walk to Rue Faubourg St-Honore and the Louvre, and even a manageable walk to St. Germain. Uber is also a wonder from this apartment because of its proximity to everything - inexpensive, easy to use and flawless execution. The recommended driver, Philippe, is also exceptional. He will meet you at the airport, help you with your bags, set you up in the apartment and return as promised to take you back to the airport. If you want a vacation in Paris with zero screw ups, this is the set up for you. We would not stay anywhere else and we know Paris very, very well.

We had a wonderful stay at Cecile's apartment and hope to be back some time in the future. The location of the apartment was in a nice neighborhood and very close to the St. Paul Metro. Many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. were within close walking distance. The walk to Notre Dame was easy as well. Utilizing the Metro system was easy and the best way to get around Paris. The restaurant outside the apartment door was great also and probably our best meal. Cecile also set up transportation from the airport and to the train station which was very convenient. Thank you!

The apartment was wonderful for the two of us. Our first trip up with our luggage was daunting, but we quickly got used to the stairs. The apartment is very neat, clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We did not cook but enjoyed breakfast there each day. Cecile was extremely helpful, including mailing back my car and house keys which I managed to leave behind. Our friends who were staying at the Arbusson came for cocktails and announced that, based on our experience, for their next trip to Europe they would try a VRBO. We highly recommend the driver Chafik who took the four of us to the airport.

We stayed at Cecile's St. Germain apartment during our stay in Paris. Her instructions for entry were well explained, and it was a straightforward process to go from street to comfy "home" in no time at all. The apartment is well appointed, and very clean. We were able to have our own breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was nicely updated. The portable air conditioner system she uses was extremely welcomed, since our first day the temperature was 90 degrees F. The bedroom and living room windows open on to a courtyard, so that the street noises are a non issue. Having the washer and dryer (it was in a separate room in the hallway) was a real luxury.
The neighborhood was very animated, with perhaps a dozen or more wonderful brasseries or restaurants literally around the corner. We were conveniently located with respect to the Metro stops; there is a small but adequate Carrefour (supermarket chain) around the corner. The Keyser patisserie around the corner was responsible for our weight gain; irresistable choices to peer at through their showcase windows every time you came home from your outing.
A prospective renter should take into consideration that the apartment is on the second (European 2nd) floor. If you have orthopedic issues making climbing stairs with suitcases, or after a long day of sightseeing, difficult, you should seek an apartment with an elevator. This St. Germain older building had none.
Cecile was always responsive to email questions I sent her; she was extremely easy to work with. We were very much pleased with our choice of apartments. I would recommend Cecile's apartment without hesitation.

We had a great stay at the apartment. It has everything you could want. The location is perfect for shopping, eating and visiting the attractions. We walked everywhere. The apartment is on a very busy street but it is at the back of the building. The decor was lovely and welcoming as was our hostess. Thank you for allowing us to stay at short notice as we were let down by another host. We would recommend this and would return as we enjoyed our relaxed stay very much.

Everything was just as Cecile promised: tastefully decorated, clean apartment in fantastic location in the 6th arrondissement. We walked everywhere because in Paris why go underground when there are so many sights? (If you want to take the metro, a station is close by.) Barely five minutes away from the Jardin du Luxembourg, this apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood. We felt like locals, buying roses right across the street from the apartment and shopping at the markets and having coffee and croissants at our favorite patisserie. We walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Marais, to the Jardin de Plantes, Eiffel Tower, Champs Ulysses! Every direction is enchanting -- many nice restaurants and cafes every which way you go -- everything from casual to formal, and all within minutes of the apartment. A wonderful bonus was Chafik, the driver Cecile arranged. He was very professional and prompt, making our transfers from Charles de Gaulle airport smooth. We will stay here again!

We stayed in this wonderful apartment with our two granddaughters. The best thing about the apartment is the location ! It is in the center of the Maurais, near wonderful restaurants, museums, St. Paul metro and on a number of Paris bus lines. (the 69 bus gives the best tour of Paris). It is so convenient to get around Paris from here. A lovely walk over to Il. St. Louis and the restaurants, and to Notre Dame and the left bank. The building is very clean and quiet. The apartment is located off a lovely courtyard. The apartment itself was very clean, well appointed. Bedrooms each have own bath which is great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Some good food take out places nearby which was great for us with kids. We toured all day so a few nights we ate in the apartment which worked out very well.
Cecile was very responsive to all our questions. You don't need any guidebooks, they are all in the apartment in English! Wifi worked perfectly, we did not turn on TV.
All in all a most enjoyable stay here. I look forward to returning for another stay.

Good location, good floor plan, good architectural details (wood floors, crown molding) - quiet building. A Metro stop, taxi stand and many shops are just out the "back door" of the building. Felt like a local staying here. Apartment views are of a quiet courtyard. Apartment is in great shape. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment so don't share a wall making them more private. Baths and kitchen are modern and very functional. Owner was very helpful. Two big thumbs up!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is accurate to the photos (the main living area was perhaps a bit smaller than expected, but not by much, and it is downtown Paris after all). The furnishings were lovely and tasteful - seemed like a well-decorated home and not a hotel. The bed was WONDERFULLY comfortable! We didn't cook in the kitchen, but it was well stocked. One point to note is that the view is on the internal courtyard - whether this is a pro or a con depends on what you like! I would have preferred a view over a Paris street (I did know it was on the courtyard when I booked), but the advantage is that the apartment was wonderfully quiet. The owner, Cecile, was always very prompt and helpful when replying to emails, and she provided extremely detailed instructions and hints that make logistics a breeze. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. Thanks, Cecile!

This place was great...very quiet, no street noise at all. We were within walking distance of so many great places to eat and drink, as well as very close to Notre Dame and the Seine and the metro. Our favorite place to eat nearby was Le Bucheron. We also liked the "Falafal Wars" area just down the street. Our son had told us to go to Auld Alliance, a Scottish Pub and we were delighted to find it so close! After a week of eating pastries for breakfast we were craving bacon and eggs and found Breakfast in America about two blocks away...our waitress was from Chicago, so we didn't have to do the whole "Bonjour, s'il vous plait, and merci" bit...lol. We highly recommend staying here...the apt. had everything you would need...adapters, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel, a DVD of Amelie...the best movie of all time...!

My partner and I had previously stayed in one of Cecile's apartments in the Marais and had an absolute amazing time; it was like having your very own Parisian home. So on our return to our favourite city we looked no further than another one of Cecile's apartments and decided to try St Germain. What I can say. The apartment was lovely, the perfect size for a couple, with a separate bedroom. The apartment is situated on a very vibrant street, with many restaurants/bars literally on your doorstep (We ate out on a couple of nights right on the street and there are no problems with street noise as the apartment overlooks an inner courtyard). Do not hesitate to book this apartment, it is just the perfect location for exploring this beautiful city. We are back in Paris in a couple of weeks and are already booked into another one of Cecile's apartments, staying in the Marais this time.

Comfy, Clean, with everything required for a short or extended stay. Some of the specifics I personally loved was the secure 1st floor location, amble hangers and storage for unpacking, washer/dryer combo, Hot water for showering, adequately stocked kitchen with clear and accurate instructions from Cecile. A great grocery store right around the corner and so many restaurants and bistros from which to choose. Two blocks walking access to the metro it was an easy ride on the RER line to and from CDG airport. This will be my home away from home on all of my future visits to this thriving vibrant city.

Our stay over a long weekend at the Marais Cosy was very comfortable. The location is perfect due to its proximity to the Metro and due to the fact that Le Marais is such a fantastic area in which to stay (shopping, food, etc.). We very much appreciated that Cecile arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and take us directly to the apartment. Not a necessity, by any means, but a nice option to have after a long flight. The communication was great, the whole process was smooth, and we will certainly be staying there again when we return.

We spent an amazing weekend. The apartment was in a fantastic location, walkable to so many great sights and surrounded by lovely stores, museums and bars.
The apartment was gorgeous, comfortable, clean and stylish. It has the views of the rooftops I really wanted. Check in and check out was seamless and Cecile was very helpful indeed.
There are a lot of stairs so just be aware but that is part of the charm and gives you the rooftop view!

The Marais Chic apartment was perfect for our recent two night stay in Paris with my wife and in-laws. The two bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the apartment and each have their own spacious bathrooms, so there is plenty of privacy. The apartment is centrally located in a great neighborhood, Marais in the 4th Arrondissement, and is close to the Louvre, Hôtel de Ville, Notre Dame and other sights. The apartment had everything you would need for your stay in Paris. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and even a few staple items like olive oil and some dry goods. There is a washer and dryer located in the Master bathroom as well.
Cecile, the owner, was extremely prompt in returning my emails and was able to answer all of my questions. She also has a driver, Chafik, who picked us up from the Gare de Lyon train station in a nice Mercedes small SUV, gathered the keys to the apartment and dropped us off at the front door. Additionally, he helped take our luggage up to the apartment, which is on the 4th floor. There is a small elevator in the building (enough for 4 suitcases and one person) which is located at the top of the first flight of stairs. He also picked us up promptly in the morning to take us to CDG for our flight two days later. I highly recommend this service!
The apartment is located in the interior of the building facing a picturesque courtyard. The building is very private and secure as you must pass through multiple doors to get into the apartment. Once inside the courtyard, is seems all outside noise disappears, thus the apartment is very quiet.
This was an amazing apartment, perfect for 4 people. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Paris!

The apartment was wonderful. It was very clean, large, chic and decorated impeccably.
